Whoever said the sea’s at its warmest at this time of the year because it’s had all summer to heat up is either a liar or a fool. Or maybe I’m the fool for believing them. The English Channel was fricking freezing this morning when the blue skies and sunshine lured me in. Still, I persevered. Actually, after a few minutes in the frigid waters it wasn’t too bad. There’s a stiff southeasterly wind blowing today and it got to the point when it was actually warmer to stay submerged then bear the brunt of the breeze. Anyhow, that breeze is the harbinger of things to come; the weather’s going to break this week apparently. That’s why this was probably my last sea swim of 2015.
Wow, just had to click on this image. Good for you. Certainly a swim to wake you up and make you feel alive. Great shot #MySundayPhoto
